Belonging to the Asteraceae family, Davana is an aromatic herb that is indigenous to the Indian subcontinent. In India, the flowers and leaves are usually weaved into garlands and offered to deities in temples as a part of daily worship. Davana is also used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to help reduce symptoms associated with wounds, and diabetes. Davana is also used to flavour beverages and tobacco products
