Tuberose belongs to the Asparagaceae family and is native to Mexico. Tuberose is known for its powerful and exhilarating fragrance. Tuberose has been cultivated for years in warm temperate to tropical climates mainly for the essential oils obtained from the flowers and also as an ornamental plant. In India, the flowers are used in garlands, weddings and religious ceremonies. It is also used for treating inflammations, particularly those pertaining to the nervous system and the respiratory system
