Mimosa belongs to the Fabaceae family and is native to the tropical regions. Mimosa is said to have a long tradition in Perfumery. In India, it is used in Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani forms of medicine for treating various diseases. It is used as a spiritual cleanser, good for helping with depression and irritability, as well as insomnia. It is also known to help with skin disorders and skin irritations
